Multi-functional dress

This is Ice Cream featherwale corduroy done in an aline dress. These cute little tabs make this one dress go from Halloween, Thankgiving, Christmas and then all winter long. These tabs take a while to do. I drew them all and then embroidered them. But I think this dress is well worth it. Such a great idea to make a winter dress last more than just one occasion.
This little pumpkin is my favorite one. I think because it gives it a dimension with all those bullions. But this little sucker took me about 3 hours to do. I love the wheat at the bottom and the curly vines.
I was playing around with color painting on these leaves. And the acorn is a padded satin stitch and bullions for the top.
And who doesn't love the Christmas mouse. This is taken from a smocking plate that I have. I just redrew him and did him in a padded satin stitch and he needed some pine to sit on with colonial knots for holly.

And then to take her through Spring I used me embroidery machine and did her name. What a cutie she will be in this little dress!
