Tres Chic

Today my Father in Law became a Deacon in our church. There was a huge ceremony and we had lots of family there. We were very proud of him. So, my little angel needed a new dress for the special day. This is pale pink corduroy with black dots on it. I have had it in my stash for about a year now. I used black and white gingham for the collar and cuffs. A black and white bow tops her sweet little head.

I was almost finished with the dress when I didn't like the front of it. It seemed way too plain so I added a monogram and I am so glad I did. I think it makes it much more classic.

I really like this style on her. I think it is really age appropriate and can see lots of these dresses for spring. I really like the fit of this dress too.

I am so glad you came across my blog because that brought me to yours. Beautiful! Beautiful! Beautiful!!! I am so impressed with your talent! Your little model is too adorable. Isn't it fun to sew for her. I love that I have little ones to sew for. I am definitely adding you to my blog list so I can check your blog often.
