Light sewing

These are just some casual spring outfits that I whipped out. I am always picking up plain white t-shirts and they work perfectly for play. The first outfit is a twirlly skirt just made from a charm pack of these adorable cherry fabrics. It is super twirlly so I made a matching pair of shorts to go under it. She can also just wear the shorts and t-shirt for the park.
Sydney informed me while I was making these capri's that she did not like crabs. But here they are anyway. She liked this outfit better when she put on the red shoes with it. She loves these shoes! I also had enough of that crab fabric for some shorts. I have them cut out waiting on me. I figure I needed to see if she would even wear the crabs before I spent anymore time on them.

Happy Easter!

Another year of Easter dresses is behind us. I love all the hustle and bustle of trying to figure out what to make and then designing something that will take my little ones breath away. This year it was pink swiss dot. Light and airy this fabric was perfect for her and her babies. I did just a couple of simple rows of smocking and make it super twirlly. I barely had enough, but all three babies got one to match. This is them waiting on her to look at her Easter basket.
Haylie is her favorite baby righ now. She is the smallest and goes just about everywhere with her. She would hardly pose without one of them. The only thing I would have done differently, would be to make a matching slip. I don't like how this slip is above her knees and the dress is mid-calf. But, I am sure that no one else noticed this morning at church.

Sydney and all her babies want to wish you a Happy Easter!

Great Egg'spectations

Here is Miss Sydney in her new Easter dress. She was so excited about this dress. She loved the orange chambray color and then to add smocked ducks to it was just over the top to her! This is a backwrap dress that just love the look of this type of dress on her. It's age appropriate for her and fit twirls! What could be better than that?

Here is Mama duck and all her babies out for a stroll! So cute!

I even found these cute buttons for the back. They are mother of pearl and were a great added detail. Sydney turned the dress over and gasped in joy when she saw them. Can't get better than that!
